Requirements

Power Supply
A standard 240V AC, 50 Hz, 10A double GPO (Powerpoint) must be installed within 1 metre of the unit location. The system must be connected directly to a double 10A outlet — power boards, extension leads, or shared outlets are not recommended as they may cause overload. For models without a boiler, the lower electrical load allows the unit to share a standard outlet if required.

Water Supply
This system must be connected to standard a hot and cold mains potable water supply.

Space Requirements
Adequate space and ventilation is required to ensure safe operation and optimal performance. For the chiller unit, allow a minimum of 50mm clearance on both sides, 100mm at the rear, and 100mm above.

Velo certified installation will accomdate free installation of airflow vents if space requirements aren't met.

Performance System

High-Performance Boiler

The Velo Core boiler delivers instant filtered boiling water at up to 98°C, with a 2.5L internal tank that automatically reheats when the temperature drops below 88°C.

Perfect for cooking, hot drinks, and everyday convenience without waiting for a kettle.

Advanced Chiller & Sparkling Unit

Filtered water passes through a high-performance chiller unit, where it is cooled to approximately 2–10°C. The system delivers a cooling capacity of up to 12 litres per hour and maintains consistently cold water, with temperatures naturally fluctuating within this range during cooling cycles and periods of high use.

The system connects to a standard 0.6L CO₂ cylinder and is compatible with widely available, industry-standard canisters, making refills simple and convenient.

Intuitive Digital Dial Control

The Velo Core features a sleek LED twist dial for simple, intuitive control.

Rotate to select your water type, then press to dispense. Clear icons make it easy to use, while the LED indicator provides a subtle visual cue as you switch between functions.

Velo is a complete under-bench water system combining a tap, chiller, filtration, and optional boiler. Using a digital dial, you can instantly select and dispense filtered chilled, sparkling, ambient, hot, and boiling water, all from a single tap.

Is it safe for children to use?

Yes. Boiling water is protected by a built-in safety activation process and automatic shut-off. Adult supervision is recommended when using boiling water.

How much power does the system use?

Velo Core uses approximately 0.99–1.16 kWh per day from combined boiler and chiller operation, with the boiler running in energy saving mode.
