General
Velo is a complete under-bench water system combining a tap, chiller, filtration, and optional boiler. Using a digital dial, you can instantly select and dispense filtered chilled, sparkling, ambient, hot, and boiling water, all from a single tap.
Velo taps are available in a range of premium finishes, including Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, and Brushed Bronze. Availability may vary slightly depending on the model.
Each Velo Bundle includes your selected tap, under-bench chiller unit, boiler unit (for boiling models), QF5 water filter and housing, CO₂ connector, connections and fittings, and a smart drip alarm for leak detection.
Yes. Boiling water is protected by a built-in safety activation process and automatic shut-off. Adult supervision is recommended when using boiling water.
Installation
No. Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber to ensure safety, compliance, and warranty validity.
The system requires connection to mains hot and cold potable water with a maximum inlet pressure of 350 kPa using the supplied valve. A 240V / 10A double GPO must be installed within 1 metre of the units. Power boards or extension leads must not be used.
Yes. We offer Velo Certified installation across Western Australia. Alternatively, you may arrange your own licensed plumber.
Adequate space and ventilation is required. For the chiller, allow 50mm on both sides, 150mm at the rear, and 200mm above. The boiler requires 100mm clearance on all sides.
Warranty & Maintenance
Velo tapware is covered by a 5-year warranty, with the chiller and boiler units covered for 2 years. Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and correct installation.
Clean the tap using a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Regular filter replacement and basic cabinet checks will help maintain performance.
Yes. We offer a 30-day change of mind policy. If your order hasn’t shipped, we can update it immediately. If delivered, we can assist with a smooth exchange.
Warranty may be void if the system is incorrectly installed, not installed by a licensed plumber, filters are not replaced every 6 months, or non-genuine parts are used.
Yes. We can assist with replacement units, parts, and support even outside of warranty.
Filter & CO₂
The QF5 filter must be replaced every 6 months to maintain water quality and warranty coverage.
A 0.6L CO₂ bottle produces approximately 60 litres of sparkling water. Usage will vary depending on consumption.
Only genuine QF5 filters should be used. Using non-approved filters may damage the system and void warranty. Standard blue screw-in CO₂ cylinders (SodaStream compatible) can be used with the system.
Replace every 6 months.
Yes. CO₂ cylinders can be refilled or exchanged through local suppliers depending on your region.

Yes. We offer free delivery to CBD and surrounding metro areas. Additional charges may apply for regional locations.
Yes. We offer a 30-day change of mind policy. Returns must be in good condition and securely packaged.
CO₂ components may be shipped separately due to transport regulations. Multiple tracking updates may be provided.

Troubleshooting
Check the chiller is powered on. If frozen, turn off the chiller unit, allow it to thaw, and contact support@velowater.com.au.
Ensure the mains water supply and 3-way valve are turned on.
CO₂ cylinder may be empty or the system is still stabilising.
The filter may need replacing or additional flushing may be required. Refer to the installation manual.
Check power supply and control cable connections.
Turn off the 3-way valve immediately and contact support.
Additional FAQs
Chilled and sparkling water will take up to 1.5 hours for the initial cooling cycle, with full carbonation performance reached within 24–48 hours.
Yes. Velo taps are designed to replace your existing tap using a standard 35mm hole.
No. The system must be connected to mains potable water only.
Regular filter replacement and basic checks are required, along with monitoring for leaks, damaged tubing, dust build-up, and pests within the cabinet.
