Power Supply
Velo Core requires a 240V / 10A double GPO located within 1 metre of the unit, as it utilises both a chiller and a boiler.
Velo Spark does not include a boiler and therefore only requires a 240V / 10A power outlet within 1 metre of the unit. As only a single outlet is required, Velo Spark can share a double GPO with another appliance.
Note: Any shared power outlet arrangement must be installed on an electrical circuit suitable for the combined load of all connected appliances.

Space Requirements
Adequate space and ventilation is required to ensure safe operation and optimal performance. For the chiller unit, 50 mm on each side and at the front, 100 mm at the rear, and 100 mm above. Chiller Size: 352 × 238 × 397mm (L×W×H) . The boiler requires a 100mm on each side and 100mm above. Boiler Size: 270 x 188 x 188mm (L×W×H) . Ensure sufficient space below the filter for easy replacement. If these clearances cannot be met, a ventilation grill will be installed at no charge by a Velo Water technician to ensure adequate airflow throughout the cabinet.

Tap Hole Requirement
Velo taps are designed to fit most standard sink openings and will typically replace your existing tap without modification. For new installations, a 35mm hole is required.

This system is compliant with Australian standards, including WaterMark certification for plumbing safety, RCM for electrical compliance, and WELS requirements for water efficiency.

Each Velo Bundle includes everything required for installation and operation, including your selected tap, under-bench chiller unit, boiler unit, QF5 water filter and housing, CO₂ connector, connections and fittings, and a smart drip alarm for leak detection. CO₂ cannisters sold seperately.
Yes, we ship Australia-wide. Delivery is free to CBD areas and surrounding metro locations, with additional charges for regional areas. At this stage, Velo Certified installation is only available within Western Australia.
The system requires adequate under-sink space with proper ventilation, including minimum clearances of 50mm on all sides, 150mm at the rear, and 200mm above the chiller unit. A 240V / 10A double GPO must be installed within 1 metre of the units, and power boards or extension leads must not be used.
Velo Core uses approximately 0.99–1.16 kWh per day from combined boiler and chiller operation, with the boiler running in energy saving mode. The QF5 filter should be replaced every 6 months to maintain water quality, protect the system from scale build-up, and keep your warranty valid.
